May 8, 2023. 6:30-8:30 PM. South Pasadena High School – Auditorium. Lynne Pedersen hosts this expert panel on the adolescent mental health struggles with a focus on early intervention. John Lieberman, COO of Visions Adolescents will highlight the signs and symptoms and moderate. The panel consists of Dr. Monica Powers of Discovery Mood, Jennifer Campoy, LCSW of Insight, and retired NBPD Officer, Vladimir Anderson and featuring Kim Turner, of Patrick’s Purpose Foundation.

May 11, 2023. 6:30-8:30 PM. Santa Monica High School – Barnum Hall. Dr. Timothy Fong, Clinical Professor of Psychiatry at the Jane and Terry Semel Institute for Neuroscience and Human Behavior and Director of Addiction Psychiatry at UCLA leads this panel with Dr. Don Grant on how cannabis and other addictions impact the individual as well as the family system. Featuring John Lieberman, COO of Visions Teen, Candy Finnigan of A&E’s Intervention and CEO, Angela Carrillo of Brass Tacks Recovery.

May 16, 2023. 6:30-8:30 PM. Calabasas High School – The Lecture Hall.  LVUSD not affiliated.  Dr. Bob Gabbay, Chief Medical Officer, Destinations and Dr. Don Grant, the 2022 President of the American Psychological Association Division 46 (The Society for Media Psychology & Technology) and media expert – who was recently featured in People magazinewill lead this panel on social media and its relationship to mental health, addiction, and the family. Featuring Angela Carrillo, CEO of Brass Tacks Recovery, John Lieberman, COO of Visions Teen and Ryan Blivas of Key Healthcare.

May 18, 2023. 7:00-9:00 PM. El Segundo High School – Auditorium.  Candy Finnigan of A&E’s Intervention leads an expert panel on Accidental Overdose with signs, symptoms, and solutions. Featuring Mother and Advocate, Jodi Barber who lost her son to an accidental overdose. We will show clips from her films Overtaken and open the discussion with Dr. Corey Jentry of Mission Prep, Sheldon Cohen, LMFT of Insight,  Michael Gentiluomo, CADC of The Arrow House and Jona Genova, sensitivity advocate with retired NBPD, Vladimir Anderson.

Alverno Heights Academy – The VillaDr. Don Grant, the 2022 President of the American Psychological Association Division 46 (The Society for Media Psychology & Technology) and media expert – who was recently featured in People magazine – will lead this panel on the impact of social media on teen mental health, body image, and addictive behaviors with Dr. Corey Jentry of Mission Prep, Jennifer Campoy, LCSW of Insight and additional experts.

June 1, 2023. 6:30-8:30 PM. ONLINE WEBINAR. Dr. Don Grant, the 2022 President of the American Psychological Association Division 46 (The Society for Media Psychology & Technology),who was recently featured in Time magazine leads this expert panel discussing the rise of mental health and addiction struggles among young people with a special focus on the LGBTQI+ community. Featuring Beck Gee-Cohen, Director of Visions Teens, LGBTQI+ Programming with Dr. Corey Jentry of Mission Prep, Jona Genova, sensitivity advocate and Kurtis Girard, CIP, Visions Admissions Liaison.
